John Greenslade, President of Minterra Resource Corp. (the "Company"), is pleased to announce that Mr. John Nilsson, P.Eng has agreed to join the Board of Directors of the Company. Mr Nilsson is a geologist and mining engineer and has worked in the mining industry since 1977, initially for Placer Dome Inc. at its Endako mine and later as a consultant with Flour Daniel Wright. Since 1993, he has acted as an independent consultant specialising in open-pit mine, design and scheduling for his own company Nilsson Mines Services Inc. We are very pleased have someone of Mr. Nilsson's ability and stature join the board. As an incentive Mr. Nilsson is being granted an option to purchase 150,000 shares of the company at a price of $0.30 per share for a period of 5 years. In addition, two of the company's existing Directors, Graham Thody and Maurice Mathieu, option agreements have been amended to increase the number of options granted to each of them from 125,000 shares to 150,000 shares. The appointment of Mr. Nilsson to the board, and the granting and amendments to the above option agreements are subject to acceptance for filing by the TSX Venture Exchange.
