Minterra’s Fish Project in Nevada returns 0.293 opt Gold, 16.4 opt Silver
Minterra Resource Corp. (“Minterra" or the “Company") is pleased to announce that the initial reconnaissance rock and dump sampling on its Fish Project located in the Walker Lane mineral belt of Nevada has returned values of <0.005 ppm to 10.05 ppm (0.293 ounces per ton) gold plus values of <0.2 ppm to 563 ppm (16.4 ounces per ton) silver. Zinc values were also anomalous returning from 11 ppm to >10,000 ppm (over 30%) zinc. The Fish project is in the Lone Mountain Mining District of Esmeralda County Nevada and currently consists of 58 unpatented lode mining claims covering approximately 1275 acres. The property encompasses a widespread skarn-zone in the Paleozoic age Reed Dolomite and Deep Spring Formations adjacent to the Cretaceous age Lone Mountain Pluton with high-grade gold, silver and zinc values from historical workings. The complete sequence is cut by Tertiary age lamprophyric, silicic, and rhyolitic dikes and sills. Numerous underground workings occur within the Paleozoic rocks throughout the property. Workings primarily focused on the gossanous zones that appear to be localized along dikes, sills, and faults. Sampling of these zones as shown on the attached maps (Gold in Rocks and Silver and Zinc in Rocks) has returned the values shown on the table below. The sampling program is the first stage of the geologic and geochemical sampling program that is currently in progress to outline specific areas to drill. Geologic mapping is still in progress.
